Welcome to New Moon Farm
We are a self-sufficient acre just outside the Gaeltacht of West Cork 8 km west of Macroom, we grow food, generate all our power from wind, sun and back-up generator. Stays with us can be a month or longer if agreeable. We need helpers who are dedicated and diligent. Our animals include: cats, dogs, chickens, ducks.
We grow many types of fruits and vegetables as well as raise chickens and ducks.
Solar & Wind Energy
Our farm is working ‘off-grid’, as we independently generate all our own power using wind turbines and solar panels. We have two backup generators.
We have our own well with high quality drinking water.
